Ordering & Delivery

How can I place an order?

There are 4 main ways to order:

How long will my order take?

We can normally turn orders around within 48 hours. We use a variety of couriers who offer guaranteed next day delivery to anywhere in the UK. For orders outside the UK please contact us for delivery times and minimum order values. More delivery information.

Can I collect my order from H&B’s warehouse?

Customers are welcome to collect their own orders from our warehouse. You will need to inform us of the name of your chosen transport company and the required collection date.  Alternatively, we can arrange transport with our own freight company on your behalf.

Are my goods insured during transit?

You will need to arrange your own insurance of the goods from our warehouse to your delivery address.

How are orders delivered if I do not arrange my own freight carrier?

Orders are delivered to your company via our current transport partner TNT. You will be notified by email when the order is dispatched and a tracking number will be supplied.

What countries do you export to?

H&B can arrange direct delivery to all countries within Europe. We can also supply goods to the rest of the world, providing customers arrange their own transport from a specified UK freight forwarder.

Can I amend or cancel an order once placed?

Your order can be amended or cancelled anytime up until the order is processed and packed.

Prices & Payment

How do I open an account?

In the first instance we will require full company details and anticipated level of ordering. We do have a minimum order value and will need to do a full credit check on your company. All first orders are done on a pro-forma basis. Please request a trade account or contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Can I view my account online?

Customers cannot currently view their accounts online. However, one of our sales team will be happy to give you any information you need.

How do I receive a Price List?

Once you have opened an account with us, we can send stock listings to your email address on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Listening to our customers’ needs has told us that regular, accurate information is paramount and we update our list every day at 9am. Is there a minimum order value?

Minimum order value currently set at £500 ex VAT.

Do your prices include VAT?

Our cost prices on our price list do not include VAT. However, if export customers can provide a valid VAT number, VAT will not be added to the order at the point of sale. Any European customers who do not have a valid VAT number will have to pay VAT. Customers outside of Europe will be exempt from VAT, providing that customers can provide proof that the goods are for exporting purposes.

How much are delivery charges within the UK?

Delivery is free of charge for orders over £500 ex VAT to locations within the UK mainland. We do not accept orders under £500.

How much are delivery charges overseas?

We have partnerships in place with a number of freight operators. We will be happy to quote you a freight cost based on the size of your order. Please contact us for further details.

What currencies do you accept payment in?

We currently only accept payment in Pounds Sterling.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Payment in cash at designated Bank
  • Internet Transfer
  • Card Payment
  • Cheques made payable to H&B Supplies Ltd (please note these can take up to 7 working days to clear and if the order is pro-forma the goods cannot be released until such time)

What other products do we carry?

We offer all popular fine French fragrance and premium skincare brands (namely Clarins, Clinique and Lancome). We also stock a range of gift sets, miniature fragrances, as well as some cosmetics. Please contact our sales department for more information.

How do I know your products are genuine?

All our product offerings are guaranteed by us to be the genuine article. We have been trading for over 30 years and have some very high profile customers (including grocery chains and large retail multiples), which is testament to our reliability and credibility. We source all our goods either from the manufacturer or from reputable suppliers that we know and trust.

Do you supply samples?

Because we purchase our stock from our suppliers at the very best prices we are not in a position to offer free samples.
